Schedule of the Cheltenham Festival (Part 1)

In horse races market, the Cheltenham Festival is considered as great destination for any fan. Once you visit this event at least one time during the life, it proves that you have ever got experience at horse races.

Whether you wonder why this courserace is called as the Festival? Because it covers series of events during the festival. Today, we share major schedule of one Cheltenham festival as normal plan. Following and considering whether you can join any event or not.

There are total four days to held series of races.

The first day: CHAMPION DAY

Coimg the Festival roar in the first day, you can join some famous events Grade 1 race on the Old Course. There are total 7 races during the day.

Race 1 is served for horses aged four and over. They need to overcome eight hurdles in 2 miles to go the final furlong.

Race 2 is served for horses aged five and over with high-speed. There are thirteen fences for challenge. This race is named after Arkle Steeple Chase which is name of a famous horse to win three Gold Cups in the 1960s.

Race 3 is popular for someone loving the Grand National. It has twenty fences in grade 3 race to overcome any opponent in the match. This race lasts 3 miles as one furlong.

Race 4: It is called as Champion Hurdle lasting two miles and eighty-seven yards. 

Race 5: Mare Hurdle is one young race in the Cheltenham Festival. This is served for mares and attached many conditions like: the weight, the ageā€¦.

This race is also held in a Grade 1 race, overcoming two mind and keep distance within 3 furlong and two-hundred yards.

Race 6: it is served specially for a handicap chase for bettors.

Race 7: it is called as the National Hunt Chase.
